    A challenge to set up but now works well

    Produces a good image after set up challenges. Connecting to the wifi did test my patience , but I did get it to respond. For some one in a similar situation. do not be put off from what appears to be a repeating connecting failure message. I then , with little complication , connected to a Android tablet. So simple. Going back to my phone Finally a message appeared to tell me that my camera had already been installed. I scrolled back and then saw the image. The camera looks and feels as if it is well made . I do not intend to test the waterproof claim and will mount mine in a sheltered position.

    I had read a lot about different types of cameras, having to mess with WIFI frequencies, as my WIFI is 5GHZ and the camera is 2.4 GHZ and the like. This camera is so easy to set up. Down load the app, plug in the camera and away you go, its is that simple. There is a grid to highlight times to select activation & recording times for the camera. There is an LED on the camera which can be on or off. You can have an audible sound when the camera is tripped, or a loud alarm sound. These can be turned on or off via the app. You can set it so you can hear sounds outside or you can have a two way conversation with someone outside.     PROS -good way of looking after your property. No subscription if using a micro sd card. great quality picture and various useful functions. works with app on smartphone. Easy to fit CONS- short power lead-3 meters. plug/adapter bit wide for an outdoor electric socket with cover so used waterproof tape to seal up cover. This camera was a bargain for 30 quid.

    Excellent camera

    Easy to set up, good quality night vision and I really like the alarm feature. Works well with IP Camera Viewer (3rd party recording software on Playstore). Replaces a new Wansview W6 which was absolutely useless and went back to the retailer. Pay a few quid more and go for this camera which works really well straight of the box.
