      Money well spent

      Fits my Nikon D7000 and does exactly what I bought it for. Timed self take photography. Takes a few minutes to get the hang of but easy to use after a few trials. Just buy it now.

      Good fun

      It's simple and compatible with most Nikon DSLR's, and can be used for a whole host of things. So far I've used it for star trail and time-lapse photography, if you don't want to do anything complex there's always the option of using it as a remote to remove the issue of camera shake

      I find that the product wears over time and I buy a new one every two years. Maybe not a big issue as it is not expensive. One negative is that I would like to be able to turn the sound off. I use it a lot for astrophotography and when the sky is clear, I leave a camera outside snapping the sky every few seconds to capture meteors.

      with adapter supplied was up and running in 5 minutes. a little complex to operate at first because this was the first time I had used a wired remote. but no problem afterwards.
