      UVEX S8510 Faceshield

      I have been using one of these for the past year and really like it. It fits well, I feel safe with it on and know that it won't stop a brick but it offers great protection. I am a wood turner and also do a lot of grinding on metal and it is still clear after a year of use. This second one is for my winter home in AZ so I don't have to keep hauling it back and forth. Great product, it may be a little pricey but the coatings make it worth it. I have had cheaper ones but they don't measure up to this one.

      light weight and wraps around face

      I love this item..... I bought it after recovering from getting a few small pieces of metal in my eye. I wish I would have had it BEFORE I got the metal in my eye...... I cannot stand using safety glasses because I do not like the way they sit on my face. I use this face shield constantly and it is made from an anti fog material so no matter how much I breathe on it or sweat it never fogs up unlike many safety glasses I have used..... HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANYBODY REQUIRING FACIAL PPE

      Technology certainly has come a long way!

      I recently returned to woodturning after a 15 year hiatus. Wow, how technology has changed soo much for the better in that time. I read many recommendations about the uvex bionic faceshield, that I had to try one for myself. Lightweight, anti-fog polycarbonate crystal clear shield a with a superior field of view. This item is fabulous AND I look forward to wearing this face protection since this is soo Lightweight, I forget I am even wearing it. Highly recommended!!

      Best face shield I have used

      It is light weight, comfortable and the detents for height adjustment work very well. The outer framing gives rigidity and a place to hold the unit so you avoid finger smudges on the visor. I wear a dust mask with the visor and have had no fogging as of yet.

      Worth the cost.

      The face shield feels solid, it covers my face extremely well, the only thing I don't like about it is that it looks big and feels big.I was hoping for something that would not look so large...I guess having it large is that if you have to wear a respirator , you will have enough room under the shield to wear it comfortably.
