A first look trailer for this summer’s action sequel, Fast and Furious 6, aired along with a barrage of Super Bowl commercials. Universal Pictures has released a three and half minute preview that shows us a lot more story information and character development along with longer versions of the already glimpsed action scenes.
“Fast and Furious 6” picks up where “Fast Five” left off — the film has Dwayne Johnson’s Agent Hobbs requesting Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team to help him take down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans). Shaw leads a group of mercenary and lethal drivers, one of whom is the seemingly dead Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), and wipes out a military convoy. This leaves the FBI with two choices: send either a team of Seal Team 6 dudes after them, or a top-10 most-wanted felon (Diesel) and a disgraced FBI agent who’s on the lam (Paul Walker) to find them. Obviously, you go with Plan B here.
