The Performance Car Show has really become a special annual event. All the large companies, teams and drivers come together at the start of the year to display their new machinery and cars. This four-day festival showcases the works of over 600 of the finest automotive tuners and craftsmen in the world, and attracted more than 82,000 visitors from more than 60 countries.
As a general motorsport fan among the other 54,000 motorsport and performance car enthusiasts, I witnessed everything related to racing and aftermarket tuning all under one roof. The Performance Car Show, really is the perfect place to see the latest road cars, high end tuned cars in dazzling displays and impressive performances.
From cars, to trucks, to 4x4s, to drifters, to girls–they have it all. The tuned cars were on another level and are nothing like I have seen before. I have to say that the drift cars, were my personal favorite. After looking at their engines, their bodywork, and sitting in the drivers position, I went out to the Live Act Arena, where the drivers demonstrating their drifting skills to an enthusiastic crowd.
Tuned performance cars such as Lumma CLR RS putting their touch to a Range Rover Sport, was a centerpiece for the show, quite rightly so. Low bodywork, carbon paneling, and an exquisite paint job were some the eye-popping features that made you take notice of this SUV.
The show is a great opportunity to see a wide range of products and their applications. The large attendance by the automotive enthusiast crowd is overwhelming evidence that the automotive industry is thriving and bringing fresh ideas to market.
