  • Basically Elmers Glue

All this glue did was hold the fabric in place in order to hand sew the project to completion. Don’t let the Singer brand name fool you, Elmers Glue does the exact same thing and is way less expensive.

  • Do your research before buying this.

I like that it was affordable, but when I used it for a flag patch it did not stick. Like, if it's not thread alone it looks like it will stay, but everything on the patch I kept checking its progress and it will peel off. I'm probably thinking of super glue as far as when I purchased this and I see it's a little different. We'll see when the time's up.

  • Rescued three pairs of work pants.

I have some work pants that have holes in their knees. The pants are otherwise fine. So what I did was go to a fabric store and by 1/4 yard of some heavy-duty fabric that sort of matched the color. I cut a piece to be a little larger than the knee hole. Turned the pants inside out Arranged the torn pieces of knee so they were pretty stright and flat Applied Singer Glue around the border of the patch AND onto the torn pieces Stuck the patch on Waited an hour (probably could have done a half-hour, but I was in no rush Turned the pants right-side out Done. I have used this glue in the past to hem some pants and it worked fine and withstood many washings.

  • Good product

It is a good product, but I don't like the color it dries. It ends up yellowing the fabric. Other than that I love it.

  • This product seems like an imitation

This this product completely dissolved in the wash after spending 2 1/2 hours of carefully putting patches on my jeans. They all fell off this is not how I remember the original glue to work this seems like Elmers glue.
