Must have for applying Epoxy floor finish
I bought these spiked shoes to use while I Epoxy Coated my workshop floor. They are a MUST Have when walking on the uncured epoxy,while smoothing & finishing . Past comments complaints about the spikes coming loose & retainer nuts falling off. Yes,the nuts/spikes are barely hand tight. I removed the retainer nuts,cleaned the spike threads with 91% alcohol,& used a drop of Loctite (Blue) on the threads,tightened the nuts.. BEFORE I used the shoes....After that good-to-go !!

Spikes loosened or ripped out of plastic base during use, never finished job with them. Good thing I ordered others from different site and got to finish job, but I lost a lot of time trying to fix with no luck. Cheap soft plastic that can’t hang 150 lbs or more of pressure, look elsewhere for better quality

Loose nuts
I was in the middle of doing an epoxy floor and the nuts that hold the spikes started to loosen and fall in the epoxy. Good shoe for the price, just make sure to tighten the retaining nuts.
