Remote for ceiling fan
I have a 20 year old Harbor Breeze Ceiling fan . While the fan and lights still work perfectly , the remotes do not last more than a year or two at most. Not all remotes are the same and this one was exactly what I needed!
Moved into my home 3 months ago and all the rooms have Harbor Breeze fans. But the remote for the living room fan died, and since it was specifically for a vaulted ceiling fan, I didn't know there were such differences between remotes and tried to use one of the other ones. Just what I needed
I bought two of these to control two fans in one room. Now I leave the switch on and control the fans and lights with the remotes. I used the holders to place the remotes where you would normally want a switch. Both work and wiring them up is not difficult. (I recommend having a helper hold the fan). One works perfect. The other requires the remote to be extremely close to turn the fan or light on. I basically walk under the light with the remote to turn it on.
