Really handy and effective tool
I use this tap guide quite often. Many times I can get what I'm tapping into the Bridgeport to get the tap square to the hole. It is not a plastic tool like others I had seen. Really well made, has a nice tumbled finish and is perfect for the job. Highly recommend.

Foolproof design
This tool is extremely well made, simple to use, and foolproof. I use a second tap of the same size to align the guide over the drilled hole before clamping it to the work piece. After that, the actual tap is used. Perfect every time.
