Old system, still fun
When fully operational, the Nintendo DS is a very fun system to play DS or Gameboy Advance games on. These systems are notorious for their hinges breaking, however. DS's that are in need of repair can be a good option if you're wanting to use its parts to fix another DS, or if you're wanting to just buy whatever part the for-repair system is in need of and making it a fully functional system. There are many tutorials online on how to fix the systems and are relatively simple devices. Personally, I bought one of these for-repair systems so I could put it on display in a shadowbox. Great value
Was interested in buying an original ds for the purposes of sending it to loopy (a capture card installer.) All of the original models at the price range were titanium, which looked too boring in my opinion. This particular system was a good bit cheaper than the other models, so I decided to buy. It didn’t include a charger (which was stated in the listing), but I happened to have a GBA charger laying around, so that was fine. It ended up arriving four days early, which was a great bonus. The system is in great condition besides one black smudge on the outside casing. It kind of gets on my nerves, but I’m not complaining given the great deal I got on this. Bought untested works like a champ
So far, everything seems to work as new on this DS. I bought it untested thinking that even if it didn't work it would still get me closer to a complete DS collection because I didn't have an original s DS yet and I could work on fixing it myself.
