Original part, good quality and works great.
It's definitely of good quality which is not surprising because it's an original part not aftermarket. I had an issue with an aftermarket battery for the same tool, the charger kept indicating the "bad battery" light even though the battery did charge fully. Maybe the internal circuitry is different from an original part. That's maybe what caused the "bad battery" indicator. A little deceptive advertising but good product.
Batteries are made to fit Porter Cable 20v tools. And they do. 2.0 Ah is better than the original Porter Cable 1.5 Ah which were made in Japan. But the battery manufacturer is VANON, which no where does the description state that. Made in ChinaVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Higher output rating than advertised
First, It is a 3ah battery, not a 2ah as advertised, which makes in better than advertised. I have only used it twice so far and no complaints. It was partially charged when received and I used it before charging to do some fence repairs with 4" deck screws. No problems. Only took about 5 minutes to charge after that.
