Will make you want to sweep!
Amazing product. Ease of use is impeccable. As any product of such a price should be. I'll start with the few? Downsides? Firstly. If you're using it to sweep up ultra fine particles. It will do that awesome. But, eventually the plastic bucket and rubber seals inside will get dirt behind them. Annoying to look at, but it doesn't appear to functionally hamper the vacuum. As well as the silver plate inside and top of the vacuum. Again, no apparent loss of function. But I have no idea how to clean it and the seals area other than compressed air. That helped but didn't totally solve the looks. Whatever you do. Do. Not. Put the air filter in after washing it if it isn't BONE DRY. you WILL break your vacuum. Learn from my mistakes! Essentially the biggest downsides are really just cosmetic preferences I suppose. Like any vacuum after enough long hair and cat hair you have to clean the roller. But that was rather easy! Wall charger station is a must. Another important thing would be knowing why you're buying a Dyson handheld. If you expect it to beat a corded Bissell or top line same price stand up. It might not. I can't say for sure. But if having a cord isn't a problem you may want to go for a corded vacuum. You're also "limited" on attachments. In that it's biggest attachment "failure" is that there doesn't exist to my knowledge an official bendy attachment. Want to get under some car seats? Good luck. Want to get behind this or that? Good luck. You can buy a third party bendy piece of thing thing I think... That's a good thing to buy! Pros. Amazing carpet cleaning. Amazing portability. Amazing battery life. HEPA filter is amazing especially when you're like me and have all of 400 Sq feet of space. So when it blows air around when cleaning it isn't making my place dirty. I'm not sure what else to include but it's a great tool. Customer service is helpful but not knowledgeable in my experience. All in all? It lives up to the hype in its commercials. Would I buy again? 10/10-Two Thumbs Up-5 Stars!
I upgraded from my Dyson V7 to the Dyson Outsize and I couldn’t be happier. The dirt bin/canister is a lot bigger and I went from having to empty once (sometimes twice) when vacuuming my home to only emptying the canister when I’m finished vacuuming. The amount of dirt/debris this picks up is ridiculous. I have 2 dogs (one is a husky who sheds more than any animal I’ve ever owned), a cat, a cockatiel, a hedgehog and 5 kids. Our home is prone to messes. This vacuum keeps things tidy. It’s convenient with TWO (easily interchangeable) battery packs and no cords! We recently cut the cord with our cable services and who knew cutting the cord with a vacuum would be just as satisfying?! The Outsize is heavier than the V7. If you do not own a Dyson stick vacuum you may find it odd that there is no on switch but it requires you to continuously hold down the trigger button to operate the vacuum. At first this feature was a flaw but when using a battery powered device you want to save as much battery life as possible and simply releasing the trigger saves time and battery life than locating and toggling an on off switch/button. I quickly adapted to this feature. Emptying the bin is also easier than with my Dyson V7. The Dyson V7 requires a pulling motion on a lever at the top of the vacuum to release the dust bin opening (on the bottom) and it wasn’t always a smooth opening process. Pulling from the top to release dust at the bottom sometimes caused some debris to miss the trash can. It’s just a bit more difficult to handle and aim. However the outsize has totally fixed this issue. You slide (rather effortlessly) a lever down toward the trash can opening the bottom lid to release the debris. I also like how all of the buttons, levers and anything you would need to push, pull or toggle is colored red. This is something Dyson does for most models. Anything colored is user operated. It just makes things easier and more convenient. The brush head is a lot larger than the V7 as this Outsize vacuum boasts the largest vacuum head on a stick vacuum (to date 11/2021). It’s power and suction will amaze you. It’s your typical plug in, standup vacuum but boasts more power, more functionality and no cord! The only cons I have are: the weight of this for a stick vacuum can be a bit overwhelming to some people. It doesn’t really bother me but my wife has said she wishes it were lighter. I guess it’s the trade off for a bigger dust bin and stronger motor than your typical smaller cordless vacuum. Also, the trigger continuously needing to be pressed in (as stated earlier) can also be cumbersome but it’s something I, personally, have quickly adapted to. In conclusion: 10/10 I recommend this vacuum to anyone searching for a vacuum or stuck deciding between two vacuums. Look no further this is the vacuum you want. It will outperform any stick or standup vacuum you already own.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have owned many Dyson and this by far the best suction. Especially helpful if you have pet hair as it removes hair and dirt so well from carpet. The longer battery life and larger dirt bin are fabulous Had a reading on the handle that tells you how much battery time is left.
