Not as good as expected
This trigger greatly varies in performance depending on the type of connector you use. The regular $8 ghost connector gave me no improvement in trigger weight. The ghost edge connector ($25) gave me a couple lbs lighter. I also adjusted the hex nut at the bottom but you will have to find the best connector for your needs in order to make this work as advertised.

Does not work
I purchased this trigger for my gen 5 glock 19. After reading reviews it seemed like exactly what I needed. However it wouldn’t function in my pistol. Trigger pull was very inconsistent and had delayed firing. I attempted to contact the company but no response. I feel totally disappointed with this product. Great for actual Glocks, but not so much for Polymer 80s
Works superbly in my OEM Glock 19. In my large frame Polymer 80, and in my compact frame Polymer 80, all the various OEM and aftermarket triggers have worked wonderfully, but the Timnet Alpha does not work. I live here in Phoenix, near Timney, And brought both my Polymer 80s to them. Although my build of the Polymer 80s was spot on, Tierney told me that Polymer 80’sTolerances are sufficiently different, such that the alpha trigger may not be compatible. On the large frame build, the trigger safety (“dihgus”) Does not engage. Also, the reset is very sluggish, despite all attempted and recommended fixes.. On the compact build, does not engage. Also, the reset is very sluggish, despite all attempted and recommended fixes. On the compact, the rear rails pulled the rear slide downward too much, causing the reset to not occur. I filed the appropriate contact Surfaces of the frame’s rear rails, and the increased vertical play of the slide now allows perfect reset. If you’re buying this trigger for Polymer 80s, Even if you are a relatively skilled amateur gunsmith, you are in for a bunch of potentially frustrating work! The Best Trigger for The Least Amount of Work
The Timney Alpha Competition trigger is an awesome product. Easy to install, feels safe. This won't beat a great trigger in a 1911, but it beats its competitors hands down. Any Glock trigger used in competition requires spring changes, polishing, aftermarket connectors( at a minimum) and a bit of skill and knowledge. All that work is still unlikely to match a Timney drop in assembly. I would NOT recommend this trigger in a defensive application, it's too light and too short of take up for a carry gun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have a gen 5 glock and was ready to sell it because of the poor trigger design. I never knew when it would go off; the travel time was long and just terrible, The Timney Alpha trigger gave me what I was hoping for in a new trigger for the gun. It had a short travel time with a crisp consistent trigger pull. However, as of this review, I have not live fired the gun but feel that everything will work as designed. For a Range or Competition Glock, this is a must have.
Turned a pigs ear into a silk purse. Glocks have never been good in the trigger departments, but this is a game changer. Install took maybe 10 minutes with the help of the directions and You-Tube. My trigger with a minus connector and the lighter return spring netted 2.3 pounds. Friends that absolutely hated Glocks really liked the trigger.
