Save your money for something better.
It was supposed to be a Xmas gift but I had a bad feeling so I checked it out. Glad I did. Very cheap plastic mount will not hold phone in place no matter hold tight you make it. The optics are okay but not real quality. Plastic lenses seem to be misaligned to each other as the image has severe drop off at the edges. The tripod is a joke - too small and spindly for the weight it is supposed to support. In my opinion, this was a waste of money. I realize it is priced cheaply so I got what I paid for. (Still feel sc***ed) It works as a spotter scope, I guess, but it's useless for photography. I'll probably give it to the grand kids. I'm sure it won't take them long to destroy it. The tripod in the pictures is not the one that came with it. (This one is my still photo tripod.) The picture of the phone screen is the best it can manage. As one can see, the mount is so poor that it can barely hold the phone in place. You will spend most of your time trying to get an image only to have it all ruined when the phone shifts over and over.
