If I could only have three books this would be one of them.
This is a very worthwhile book my husband and I read every morning. We've worn out our first book, hence I have ordered another! The content is deep and demands concentrated attention, but has enriched our lives immensely. If I could have only three books, they would be: The Holy Bible, Matthew Henry's Commentary of the Bible, and this book, My Utmost for His Highest. My best friend
For years I always wanted someone to tell me and help me along in walk with Christ . Yes Christ should be the one But as a baby Christian I needed someone older to guide me. Oswald chambers turned out to be my best friend here on earth . He has directed me to Christ countless times and one day I hope to be with him in the presence of the Lord. even when I didn't read his work he was speaking to me about whatever situation I was working through .
