This is a good unit to mount on a 55 gallon drum. I bought this as a replacement for one that had a short somewhere that I couldn't find. Considering that it sat outside for two years, it held up very well. I replaced an old feeder (made by the same manufacturer) and it assembled easily. The digital control unit was different than my old unit however it was better. I offered 6 different feed times, up to 30 seconds per feed, and 3 different spin motor speeds. It was a good value for the money.
