THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE FLUKE 88 HAS AN INDUCTION PICKUP FOR MEASURING RPM. HANDY WHEN PERFORMING TUNE UPS. IE; SETTING BASE IDLE ETC. OTHER THAN THAT, ITS GREAT! WELL THOUGHT OUT. SMALL SIZE. FAIRLY LARGE DISPLAY. COMES WITH 2 LEADS WITH SCREW ON ALLIGATOR CLIPS. A DETACHABLE MAGNETIC HANGER ( FOR HANGING METER FROM ANY STEEL PART IE; HOOD) AND AN INCLUDED SUBMERSIBLE TEMPERATURE PROBE. I OWN MANY POWER PROBE TOOLS AS QUALITY IS SECOND TO NONE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE DVOM (FAR LESS THAN $100.00) THIS SHOULD BE YOUR CHOICE.
