Great for organizing the freezer!
I use an upright freezer and have gone away from plastic cartons to vacuum sealed bags. Storage on the shelves had become somewhat tedious due to the irregular shapes that result during the bagging process. These bins are the perfect solution to "square up" the bags and prevent them from sliding around when looking for something. The open construction allows the cold to circulate while restraining the bags in a cubed arrangement. Imagine having drawers for each item instead of a shelf. The solid bottoms also help to reduce the loss of cold air when the door is opened.
