after spending over $200.00 at the dentist, i decided to try this item--received and waited about 5 days before taking the plunge (read all comments pro and con) and was happy with results and new bite and hold. It seems a little product goes a long way, do not know how long it will last, they advertise 2 years, but will still visit the dental professional for checkups, and since I now know know their "markup" will double check any prices quoted. The instruction is wrong.
I used it a couple of years ago. It was fine. This time it arrived without a piece of wood to mix the solution. The instruction is wrong. 45 seconds were definitely not enough for solution to become consistent. The instruction says to check when solution "runs slowly". What is slowly? They saved a piece of paper, and I wasted my money. The solution ended up on my tongue, and the reline didn't work. The stuff is highly overpriced.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

if done right-THIS works!
this is the ONLY way i can keep my upper in-i can't use denture adhesive, a.k.a. 'glue' that to my knowledge-no one has figured a way to get it off the roof of your mouth without making it sore-if done right-this works for me-i do it at night before bed so it can really take hold while i sleep and yes-i sleep with my denture IN-i never take it out except to clean it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I really like the product because it saves me hundreds of dollars in dentist charges. The product is easy to use and does a professional job. The only problem I had with the product is that it is bitter tasting for a few days and after that it mellows out but doesn't disappear completely. I still cannot drink coffee because it tastes bitter so now I've had to switch to hot tea. Maybe in the future coffee will taste better. Superior to other brands.
I've purchased other brands of re-lining kits, either at drugstores or online, and they have been horrible. They were hard and if you still needed denture adhesive, it wouldn't stay adhered! The Perma Soft is much easier to use, feels comfortable, and adhesive can still be used if needed. Easy to use

defective material
I recieved my purchase of Perma soft Denture Reliner Kit item number 121806943854. I found the product to be defective. When i mixed the bottle of liquid with the powder it took over 5 minutes for the described thickening of the mixture. Having used other products and I never had this problem. I bought it because it was supposed to stay soft. After waiting in excess of 5 minutes it did start to become thicker, still not the consistency that was stated in directions, when i put the material into the denture it started to run out the back of the denture, It was not spreadable as they said it was to thin and runny,. I followed all the directions and continued with the procedures of biting down, letting it set, running under cold water, removing excess which was almost all of the product on the outside of the denture. Put in my mouth to get the bite right and then removed and let it set for the 20 minutes. The problem i had was there is NOT enough of the denture liner in the denture to make it fit and be soft, I am extremely dissappointed as i stated i have used almost all other products for soft liners on my denture..it was clean/dry and totally ready for a new liner. I can now eat regular food!
The PermaSoft worked wonderfully! The dentist left 3 pieces of tooth or root in my gums that were sticking out sideways. I had to file enough off the PermaSoft liner to get the plate to go down over the bones that were sticking out. That left an open area below the bones, and made it impossible to have a perfect fit. (No fault of PermaSoft, but entirely my dentist's fault for not taking out all the hard pieces of bone.) I just use a little adhesive product and it works just fine! Anyone with a smooth gum-line should get a perfect fit without using the adhesive. My dentist said there was nothing else he could do about my new lower plate, unless I wanted to pay a large sum to get a post put in that would snap into the teeth and hold them securely. Before PermaSoft, they would just fall out. I was irritated because he made the teeth and should have relined them or removed the bones. Thanks to PermaSoft, I can eat again! TO THE FIRST QUESTIONS I STATE EVERYTHING TRUE FOR I HAVE USED IT IN THE PAST WITH NOTHING BUT SUCCESS. BUT NOT THIS TIME. I SUGGEST & RECOMMEND TO THE MANUFACTURE TO INDICATE ON THE LABEL, "THAT IT MAY NOT WORK ON PRIOR PROFESSIONAL SOFT LINERS." IT DID NOT ADHERE BECAUSE NOT ALL SOFT LINER MATERIAL'S ARE THE SAME. NOW MY NEW LINER IS PORTABLE. STILL WORKS PERFECTLY BUT NOW REQUIRES TO BE PASTED DOWN EACH TIME. POSITIVELY NOT THE MANUFACTURER'S FAULT.
