    Would not fit vehicle

    The unit will not fit a 2001 E46 CiC, the reason being that the splined gear wheel on the original is 9mm in depth, the replacement is 11mm in depth. The result is that the unit will not seat in the recess in the door for the replacement unit. Unfortunately I did not take pictures since I was totally frustrated at that point.
