  • Great color and high power!

This is a truly unique color of laser I have never seen before. I was skeptical it was a laser and not a flashlight. This is actually a laser and at a wavelength I have not seen offered anywhere else in a portable battery powered version. The power output is significantly greater than the 1 mW listed. A great product for any laser enthusiast. Fits nicely into my collection. I didn't try the waterproof feature and do not intend to.

  • A little nostalgic

This the same wavelength as an argon laser. We used one in college back in the 80’s. I loved it’s turquoise beam. This pointer has about the same power as the argon laser did without needing a large AC 220v power supply and cooling system.

  • True blue and bright, if not perfectly tight

Your mileage may vary, but I'm quite pleased with the item that I received. I've waited nearly four nears for the price of blue lasers to come down far enough that I could buy one with a clear conscience, and at 22 bucks total, this one was a bargain. The color is just what I wanted: cornflower / sapphire blue, not violet / purple like lasers with a wavelength of 405 nm. As I had expected from reading reviews of multiple blue-laser (~450 nm range) devices, the beam is invisible in clear air under most conditions (like the beams of most red lasers, but unlike those of most green ones). It is brighter than the reviews had led me to expect, easily bright enough for classroom use. The only flaw that I perceive is a trivial one: the dot isn't perfectly circular, but slightly oblong / elliptical. According to the reviews that I've read, this is not uncommon among blue laser pointers. I do not find the elliptical nature of the dot to be noticeable at any range that would be relevant to my use of the device in a classroom setting.

  • Great laser, bright and brilliant color

Well built and sturdy, the tip focuses the beam. The laser is very bright and visible during the day. The beam is visible at night. The pictures don't do the laser justice in showing its brightness. There is no included battery (18650) but, mine did come with a charger. I'm not sure how waterproof it is so I'm not going to be immersing it in water any time soon on purpose but, it does seem like it could stand up to rain. If you're looking for something other than the standard laser colors of red, blue/violet, and green this is a good one. A little over 5.5 inches long and weighs 205g with battery.

  • 488nm blue in a directly-injected diode laser! WOW!!!

The first thing I did upon receipt of this wonderful little laser is run it through my spectrometer. Judging by the beam color, I figured that it was really close to the 488nm argon-ion laser line; imagine my surprise when it spectroed at 488.3nm! This is right where it ought to be. The next thing that I did (after analysing it spectrographically) was to remove the battery & collimating lens and have a look "down the barrel" as it were. I saw a laser diode in (what I believe is) a standard 9mm can. Between these, I determined that it was in fact directly-injected and not DPSS like those now-common 532nm green lasers. Unlike most other laser pointers, laser pens, and portable lasers, this little guy is waterproof (the photograph of it in the toliet tank pretty much says it all) and submersible to 5M (~16.4'). I'm extremely happy with my little cyan-blue laser, and I can't recommend it enough! :-)

  • Beautiful Cyan color laser. Very bright and powerful. A must have laser pointer.

Although I doubt it is a 1mW as advertised (I do not own a refractometer to test it) it is Incredibly strong nonetheless. Based on the unassuming cyan color, at first you wouldn't think this laser is strong enough to burn stuff and pop balloons, but it most certainly does! Beam is not visible in day time but definitely is very noticeable at night. I am using a Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mAh 10A Battery and this laser seems to stay strong forever. I haven't dipped into water yet. I don't think I would ever do it. If you are thinking on buying this laser, then you should definitely purchase one. You will be very happy with the performance.

  • It’s really impressive!

Worth every penny. Extremely happy. Flashlight body is great quality, compact, and has really smooth threads. Much better than others I have. It is literally the coolest laser color I’ve ever seen. Love it.

  • Well made , lovely color, not 1mw more like 60mw, no battery, would buy again

Very nice, is not 1w , on the forums it measured 60mw , still very powerful, amazing color, no batteries included , does focus but not ultra fine.I have not tested waterproof yet . Would buy again
