Good heater
I've been using these for years. I keep a lot of nana aquariums and I finally gave up on the other brands that are 10 watts. The other brands are better in their small size but terrible quality, temps all over the place. I kept trying to use them because of the size but I lost too many fish. I'm sticking with these. If you can fit it in the aquarium, the clear glass heater really isn't very noticeable. I highly recommend them. Aqua clear did make a "Compact Mini" that was shorter if you can find one. Sometimes people list it as a mini but it isn't if the package doesn't say "mini".

It takes a bit of time to get the right temperature you want. I’m currently cycling my tank and after trial and error I got the perfect temperature. My tank now stays between 78-79° F. I also appreciate the light that signals if the heater is on.
