Good buy
Works great although I have not had an actual test under real conditions. Would have given it 5 stars except for a couple things, the gas filler screen in the tank broke first time I put gas in, instruction manual inadequate (didn't tell me to connect wire from battery so electric starter would work, didn't tell me the cheap propane hose came jammed against the muffler), propane hose was ruined by heat from muffler.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It was not what I was led to believe.
Heavier Canvas would be nice. It appears to be made of ripstop nylon so I had better be sure the muffler is cool before I put it on my generator. I was lead to believe that it was purchased with a welder / generator I bought. Nice generator
I recently bought this generator on sale and used it once so far. It ran great on propane. The electric start is a nice feature and yes it came with the battery ready to go. Th only thing you need to buy is one quart of 30wt motor oil which it only took about 560ml of. It came also came with basic service tools, 12V pig tail, standard 3 prong 110V plug, and 4 prong generator plug to wire as you please. BEWARE Sharp edges Rips easily
These covers are cut too small to fit over the sharp edges of the handles without ripping the cover. The covers should be made larger with holes for the handles to be outside so you can move the generator without removing the cover that will rip very easily on the sharp edges of the handle brackets. The material is cheap and the cover will rip if you are not VERY VERY gentle pulling it down over the handle brackets. I have ripped two of these covers and dread pulling the cover off to take it to an apoulsterer to use as a pattern to make one out of material that will not tear on the sharp edges of the handle brackets.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Propane option is great.

A perfect fit for a Duramax XP4850EH
I hesitated to buy this cover because I wasn't sure if it would fit my Duramax XP4850EH generator. Well, it fits perfectly! It's almost as if this cover was made specifically for the model XP4850.
