Great value but missing hinge pins.
The footlocker is exactly what I needed. The only problem was the missing hinge pins. Fortunately we had an old CB radio antenna just the right diameter to fit the hinges and with a couple of wirecutter snips had hinge pins installed. This could be a problem with someone expecting an attached lid and not having the appropriate gauge wire or means of cutting the wire handy. All in all I like the foot locker , I'm using mine for outdoor excursions I spray camo painted mine as the black will get too hot in the sun, so I lightened the color. I think the folding handle placement is all wrong, either remove it and save weight and cost, or move it to the short end opposite of the wheels So you can literally 'wheel' it places, I like the size and the fact it'll make great storage when not in trips ... This locker storage box is a great value for the money. It has a handle to carry it and good metal latches I'm very well pleased with the product I actually plan on getting some more. They stack nice to. My only complaint would be if you put a heavy load in them I would only go to 2 or 3 high they are not quite as sturdy as some on the market. I used this bin as a piece of luggage to carry gear as a checked-in piece of luggage on a flight. It was great because if feel with the diminutions of an ordinary piece of luggage on Southwest Airlines and didn't add a large amount of weight. Seem tough enough, lacking in stackablity
Storage footlocker seems tough enough, only time will tell if they hold up, good latches - Only cons are the stackablity, the form molding could be taller to get a good lock with the top to bottom meeting up.
