I needed a motor for my old gas furnace blower
I needed a motor for my old gas furnace blower, and I needed to figure out what specs I needed to compare. Well they gave a good description and I was able to make a decent comparison. I watched a couple youtube furnace repair videos and got it done. The motor was well boxed, and came very quickly too. SPECS: Fasco Co. 1/6 hp 1050 RPM, 2-Speed, 7.2 amp, 115 Volts 60hz. Shaft: 1/2" x 3-1/2" Rotation = CWSE Belly Band or Stud Mount - Bolt Circle - 4.62" Motor Length Less Shaft = 3 7/8" Sleeve Bearings 1 Year Manufacture Warranty Shaded Pole Motor - Open Ventilation - Air Over; Resilient Ring Mount. Belly band brackets available: Torsion Flex Bracket # FM50, Welded 3-Ring Bracket # 2MEV2 Ref # 7151-0136, Dayton 241X19 The added reference Dayton part no. helped to verify the fit as well. I am very pleased I got the right one. This motor was almost an exact replacement. I easily installed it into the blower housing and it works great!

Replacement blower motor for G&S Furnace
The blower motor in our 60-year old Gaffer & Sattler model 85 FDF furnace needed to be replaced. The Fasco D166 has the same body diameter, approximately the same front-to-back dimension (1/4 inch less), the same shaft diameter, the same number of speeds (two) and the same mounting scheme as the dead motor. After splicing extensions on to the short power leads, the D166 fit perfectly into the blower assembly. The furnace now works perfectly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
