As it mounts to the receiver ball mount, it fits with both horizontal and vertical receiver hitch assemblies. A quick-release design allows quick removal by simply removing the two locking pins (included) and sliding the rack free of the mount to accept a trailer.

Nice Attachment for my 2006 Gold Wing
Good quality and bolts up nicely. One shaft is a little tight, so have to pull pins and loosen screws to pull out, but still a nice unit. Bought a soft motorcycle cooler that fits perfectly.
