Classic Soviet Fighter
Been a long-time fan of old biplanes, but rarely see the likes of these offered. The I-153 was one of the last built Soviet biplane to see military use, having an unheard of top speed of 250 mph and much loved by her pilots, though only operational in the beginning of the Second World War. The kit was a French Heller, circa 1960's, still in her original shrink wrap. Upon examination the kit was untouch, having been stored. The molded parts are crisp, with little flash, and hardly any sign of imperfection, as parts were smooth, and saw no variation. The instructions had hardly yellowed, and even the decals looked fresh, with no cracking, or discoloration. I am looking forward to the assembly, and fabrication of a cockpit interior. Great purchase.
