This amp is a great amp for the money that does it's true power. I was skeptical at first by reading reviews of the amp overheating and such. I can definitely say that it does not overheat, I've had this amp wide open for hours at a 1 ohm load. Just make sure you give the amp the juice it needs (proper electrical and wiring) and you'll be set. I've had the amp for about a month now and I can't find any issue with it. I bought this amp to replace a jl 500/1, and it's about the same size with over 2x the output.
