Couldn't make it work
The electric plug was oddly shaped, and also bent, so that it wouldn't plug into the electrical outlet. A friend who was with me (I was on the telephone) took pliers and straightened out the plug, then plugged that into a hard rubber plug, which did go into my wall socket. However, I was afraid of it, and so just threw it away. I was looking forward to the radiator, since I had one made by Hammacher Schlemmer in the eighties, and loved it. I wouldn't buy it again. De Longhi oil filled electric heater
This heater was a little difficult to set up at first (because of difficulty being able to see the screen), but now that I've got it working, it is exactly as advertised. Puts out very good heat to take the chill out of the air in a room that usually stays cool. Looks good, sides stay cool to touch. Oustanding heater
Bought this heater and two ceramic heaters to heat a large combined living room and dining room in an old home. Put this heater in one corner at an angle with a slow-moving floor fan behind it and now have no use for the two ceramic heaters. This heater heats the entire area. After it has been on an hour or so, I have to reduce the heat to level "1" as the room is warm. And, it is true that it holds its heat because even for a few hours after it has been turned off, it is still throwing off heat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
