A good "do-it-yourself" kit
For those who are mechanically inclined AND don't have time to reinvent the wheel. This is the perfect addition to your snowblower. A great idea especially if you live in a part of the country that gets bombed with lots of heavy, wet snow. Since I had to tear down and rebuild my snowblower to make it ready for the oncoming winter - this kit was a logical improvement over a puzzling design flaw(?) from the original manufacturer.

Blow that snow, Maybe.
This product functioned well for about 20 minutes and then failed. The sear's 2 stage (7hp) Snow thrower I own has small impeller blade's and the universal kit was not geared for it. They send you 4 inch piece's of rubber with the metal washer's predrilled. You can order them custom made to fit your need's (to late for me). I was surprised to see that the rubber wore off. They were easy to install.

Great product - exactly as pictured. I'd add washers under the bolt heads/nuts as the metal reinforcing/attachment plates tend to bend a bit when you tighten them down. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Shipped quickly!

Kit worked well on my PowerSmart 7629 22 inch snow blower
I have a PowerSmart 7659-22 in. snow blower. The gap on the impeller was over a 1/4 in. This kit filled the gap and I was able to send slush and ice crystals 10 feet.. I'm sure if I had fresh or power it would go at least 20 feet. Very happy with this product.. would do it again.
