Nectar does not drip out but check the sharp flowers.
The dish variety that this feeder is, it doesn't blow in the wind so the liquid stays in the feeder instead of splashing all over attracting ants. I also really like the versatility of the 3 mounting options. I'm currently using the hanger but the stake is nice too. The suction cup appears to be a little under sized for the weight of a full feeder. The main reason I can't give 5 stars is that the yellow flowers are rough and sharp inside. I have read that this can be painful and unhealthy for the hummingbirds' tongues. So I have bought some replacement flowers that do not have sharp tips.
