Put 03 Parts on a 02 CR125R, Don't buy this bike if you want new OEM Parts
I bought an 2002 CR125R. It ran perfect. 7 rides later. The stator crapped out. Couldn't find any brand new 2002 stators at any on-line store. Pickin's were thin on ebay. this seller had what I needed. we kind of went back and forth on does 2003 parts fit the 2002. Yes they are exactly the same pieces. But be careful buying just the one component of the electronic parts if you go in that direction. I bought it all from this seller because he had it. If fit and looked great, by the manual too. When I went to start it, it still wouldn't crank. Head gasket was blow, just so happen to be at the same time or coincidence. Who cares stuff happens. So replace the gasket, still didn't fire, still trouble shooting. I've been told I shorted the plug trying to kick start it wet. Tonight after work I check to see if the plug is wet. If wet I am completely disappointed in my work and I followed the book. If wet I sale the bike for $2500. Since I have over 4K in it I eat over $1500. If its dry, I'll replace the plug. If it fires the price goes to $3800. I can eat a little over 200 dollars to get rid of the POS.
