Fantastic speaker, excellent sound, good quality, even better value.
I looked at MANY different subwoofers for my application. Needed to replace a factory sub in a factory enclosure to be run off an aftermarket amp. Looked at subs that were easily 10x as expensive but they didn’t meet the wattage and dimension specs I needed. I’d used Pyle brand gear before and had good results. This speaker definitely did not let me down. Lined up almost perfectly with the factory pre-drilled holes from the factory sub it was replacing. Mounting depth was SPOT ON! I’m running it with a 1000w amp with the gain turned down. This “little” speaker hits hard!! Brings a HUGE amount of bass to a system, just by itself. I can only imagine what two of these would sound like. If the need ever arose, I would purchase again in a heartbeat. I look for this to hold up well, even under heavy use. I figure even if it fries completely out (which I HIGHLY doubt) it’s super easy to replace and VERY cost effective!! Can’t say enough good about this speaker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Spend your money on something a bit better
I have 450 watts running to the speaker, it sounded great for the first few weeks. I didn’t play at high volumes to allow break in, gain almost all the down on amp and the speaker still blew. Still sounds ok I just lowered the sub level on head unit to -5 and it works. Not as shallow as expected. Overall I wouldn’t purchase again. Great Subwoofer for the price
This is a wonderful subwoofer. After installing this in the replacement of the original subwoofer, the music finally come alive. It brings out the bass in the entire car. GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Honestly, a good little sub for the price. I recommend getting a pair tho because one just isn't enough if you're a seasoned bass-head. I'm currently using these in a old pickup truck in a sealed box, I tried a ported box but it was to sloppy sounding, with a 1600 watt amp almost all the way up with proper EQ and the dual voice coils handle it with no distortion or clipping. Just Get one already!
So, i am building a 20 000+ watt car stereo.. i had an exsisting 8" it did not hammer the mid bass like i would of hoped. .. So i bought this like MEH ....try a cheap speaker first...been a couple weeks now...... Well, Its a Beast ... Clean //Loud running 350 watts to it (400 rms 800 peak) its mid bass Balances out with my 12's running 1000 watts into them with some extra wiggle room to tune//balance... The specs are true! Happily surprised!
I used this to swap out the old blown factory sub in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. Fit perfectly, just had to drill new holes. Amazing sound for a $20 8" sub! I had no idea this stereo could sound so good, HUGE increase in low end! Very happy with this little sub, the Tahoe has a little thump now, and I am still using the stock head and amp. Be sure to install it as a 2 ohm if you put it in a Tahoe. Also look into the crossover bypass system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight with booming bass! Blew after only a week though. :(
I put this subwoofer inside my 2003 Maserati Cambiocorsa Spyder Convertible and it packs just the right punch to fulfill my need for booming bass! This is an EXCELLENT buy for such a low price. I'm thinking of changing my setup now just to add a few more of these because it sounds so good. Great product!!!
