Nikon D5100 has the best quality/price point
The Nikon D5100 has the best quality/price point for eBayer's. When you add a Macro Lens, the image quality for coins and small detailed items is remarkable. It isn't the easiest camera to use - especially if you not a 35mm photographer but pulling down the online manual and watching a couple videos and I was able to take some amazing close ups. Take a close look at the picturers I was able to post for a 1929 gold quarter eagle coin and that was my 1st try. 16mps seems to be more than enough to take great item photos. I know you will love it. The photos were taken using the D5100 I bought used and an $18.00 Albinar Macro Lens.

One of the best digital camera purchases ever.
Nikon D5100 is without a doubt a beautiful piece of machinery. The weight feels natural in the hands Photos and video are amazing. The swivel digital screen makes it easy for settings navigation. It's one of the best features on the camera. Switching out lenses is very easy thanks to the lense release button. Can't wait to get my use out of this camera and upgrade to the next Nikon by years end. Can't wait to get new lenses for other photo projects.

This is an exceptional camera with so many menu's and possible lens combinations, I will have many years enjoying learning and recording my hobby, Mushrooms.
