Great true bass tone
I like these strings because DR have a sincere tone. DR have not emphasized lows or electric sound. These are strings with pure steel sound.

Best heavy gauge steels made.
Strings are so well made, and finally finding long lasting bright steel strings in a heavy gauge was virtually impossible. I used Dean Markley Super Bright Steels 45/105 and they would be dead after one show! I change strings weekly anyway, but these could easily stay on for four or five shows with a creamy yet bright set of these. The best!!

DR Heavy High Beams ER-50
They are the best strings on the market for the money ! The new string ring fades a little after minimal use then keep their great tone for longer than any string I've ever used and I've used about all of them in the last 25 years.
