Go big or go home. :-) (With Lava Lamps Bigger is Much Better)
Watching blobs move around in a small Lava Lamp is like watching people trying to dance in a phone-booth (remember those Superman?) When one gets one of these 27inch tall units there's more than twice as much room for the blobs to move around in all directions, allowing for many more interesting dyanamics to witness. These monsters do use 100W bulbs instead of the standard 40W bulbs but even a 100W bulb running all day uses only about 30 cents of electricity which may not even be important if one is trying to stay warm. These globes are just plain beautiful to watch and look at, well worth the money to both purchase and operate.

These Lava Lamps Don't Ship Well
They don't ship well at all. My box arrived in the mail all smashed up. Lamp fixture had several dents all over. The wax had mixed with the oil which that then made it useless. It did not have one fragile sticker on the box. I had to return the product back to my local Target Store. Bottom line, lava lamps never have shipped well. Something to do with the temperature change during storage and movement. You should be able to purchase the bigger lamps (29 inch) in stores but I haven't seen that yet.

I purchased this for my son's birthday. I bought 2 others over the last couple years and neither one lasted. I should have known. It stopped working in less then a month! These are like Cheap knockoffs from the Originals back in the day. Never Again!!!!

Love it very scared it’d be cloudy but wasn’t at all love it so much there are a tiny bit of sticky parts were wax is stuck on the inside of the glass club, but that will go away over a couple times. There’s nothing I can really do or anyone can do about it.

Colors are not as promised
