Fit extremely well... with a slight mod
This diamond fit my the recess very well in my 1970's model 1100 stock. However, this diamond has a protruding alignment stud molded into the plastic that didn't work with my gun. Just trimmed it off with an exacto knife and added 2 drops of super glue gel and it looks like brand new.

Looks awesome. I had to drill a small hole in the grip cap to accommodate a short plastic post on the insert. I felt it would be more secure this way. If you don't want to do that, you can easily clip the post off with a wire cutter or razor blade. After that, it snapped right in and is going nowhere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
