  • No power, Motor smokes

This drill claims to be a 5 amp rated drill. It really isn't that powerful. I have a 3 amp craftsman that has way more torque than this drill. I used it to drill a 1/2" hole through 14 gauge sheet metal. That is pretty thin, about 1/16". The motor locked up and started smoking. I put the drill bit on my supposedly less powerful 3 amp drill and finished my holes. You will be disappointed at how low a torque this drill is. I would not recommend this drill. It may be worse on concrete where there is more friction on the drill bit cutting edges. This drill pulls 2.76 amps high speed no load and 13.49 amps at near stall full trigger. It claims to be 550 Watts which is 2/3 of a horse power, but I don't know where the lost power is going.

  • Hammer drill not too much !!

This " HAMMER DRILL " is not worth using as a hammer drill. It only has the driving power of a normal drill. I got this to use to drill out a hole for my dryer vent, LOL it wont go more than 1/8 th an inch into the cement in my garage. My house is from the 1930's the cement must have been stronger back then than now.

  • Top Drill of host best

well i begin to use the drill cutting circle in 1/2 inch thick wood, the drill was okay at the beginning but after the fourth circle the drill begin to burn out, so i had to quite working on my project, but i wasn't disappointed it drilled the first three holes smooth before the drill begin to heat up, but i knew what it is going to do next end that's smoking, end i was forced to quit suddenly, but the drill live's on, end i will cut my last circle in the wood soon keep u'er fingers crossed that the drill life don't burn out if it do i'm going have to request for a warranty exchange bye.
