What can I say about the Denon DP 47F, well, it’s fully automatic, so once the lid is down all the functions are on the front panel, so no need to adjust or lift the stylus.
The sound is clear and precise, I’ve got a DL 80 moving coil cartridge, which is fantastic.
I’ve had many a turntable, and this one is by far the best one I have had, the only downfall is that these turntables are usually only available from Japan, so make sure you ask the buyer to pack it properly, and also you will need a step down ac convertor as Japan electronics are 100v.
I'm really really very lucky. My experience in the 80's about the HIFI. I think that was the end of the Golden age. If you search the Last Mohican, you found it. This is it.
Classic big Denon turntable with servo-controlled tonearm. Fabulous fully-auto operation. My copy has black trim instead of silver, and it looks great1 Couldn't be happier.
