The Blu Rya worked fine, but it is standard. No features at all. Movie itself is only above average. I give it 2 1/2 out of 4 stars. 2 good lead characters but not enough others, and they do not experience enough dangers together. Great to see this sci-fi classic in HD
Underrated science fiction classic from the 80's, and one of the great ones that I grew up watching. I was thrilled to find this rare bluray release of this forgotten gem. Its all-region, so I think that most players will handle it. My xbox one s seems to play it flawlessly. The 1080p restoration is wonderful. Its like seeing it for the first time, not grainy like some restorations of older films. Intellectually stimulating
It was and is a very different type of sci fi movie. The essays in the special feature section were very informative and I agreed with 99% of their analysis of the movie. The movie is intellectual and spiritual, something unexpected at the box office which most audiences weren't receptive to. I saw it many years ago and it came back to mind. 1980’s Sci Fi
I remember the 1st time I watched this movie. It was on vhs from a video store I worked at. I love 80’s movies and this movie took me back to a great time in my life. This was the 1st time I’ve seen it in widescreen and it looks great. The sound was also very good!! Only downside to the blu ray is a lack of extras. One of my favorite movies from the 80s.
I am glad I found this movie. I have loved it from the first time I saw it in 1985. Louis Gosset, Jr. was amazing playing the part of the Drac.
