Book is a gift for our son-in-law who is intrigued by chickens and is an excellent cook. Jacques Pepin is a legend in the culinary community and this book will help readers to understand why. In addition to savoring many lovely recipes for all sorts of poultry dishes, we also get to enjoy his lighthearted, artistic renderings of chickens and roosters, and to be entertained by Jacques' stories of his boyhood in France and the years afterward in the USA.
