It is cute but not practical for outdoor birds. The only compartment large enough for a nest has a huge hole, way too large for tiny birds like wrens and chickadees whose nests would fit in the compartment. We covered the large hole and the only opening is now through the square are the front. We have not decided whether to hang the house or use it as a decoration.
