If you want a bike that shifts smooth, and cruises like the wind. Don't be afraid of saving money and go with the Ultima 6! You don't need a 150" engine! A positive surprise
I bought the trans mission in an emergency having lost mine 2 weeks before along trip. Installed easy everything lined up with the original transmission. Mine came without shifter rod so you have to reuse yours or order one. Was a little noisy at the 75 MPH plus range using a 32 tooth front pulley but fine at 70 and below. you cant go wrong buying an ULTIMA 6 SPEED THEY ARE WELL MADE AND LOOK GRATE.
was very impressed with the tranny but had to re adjust the shifter pawl. it would not shift. after i re adjusted the shifter pawl it shifts so smooth it does not have the clunk that Harley has when it goes in and out of gear i have to get use to that I'm very happy yes i would buy one again and if your looking for a good tranny you need to get one of these!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
