New is always the best option but not the cheapest
The covers are made in very reasonable quality in the beginning but a motorcycle part can be damaged during use and deteriorate in its lifetime. I had the original damaged by a scratch which lifted on one location the chrome. Therefore I was on the search for an immaculate part. New cover I have got on ebay and that is obviously the best option. It is rare and more expensive than other items which are preowned.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
