Installed this sight on a small frame Dan Wesson, it works perfectly!
I purchased this sight, not for a GP-100, but for a Dan Wesson .22 revolver. The Dan Wesson small frame revolvers happen to use the same rear sight pattern as the GP-100, with the exception of the rear sight springs - the Dan Wesson springs are a larger diameter than the Williams springs. All you need to do is purchase a pair of GP-100 rear sight springs and this sight works perfectly on the Dan Wesson. I wanted 3-dot sights for my more-than-middle-aged eyes and Williams is the only source for a fiber optic rear sight to use with the fiber optic front offered by Dan Wesson/CZ. For anyone who's thinking about it, either on the Ruger or the Dan Wesson, it doesn't take mechanical genius to do the job. Start be using the correct size punch (flat punch for the Ruger, roll pin punch for the DW), drive the pin out far enough to free the front of the sight. Unscrew the elevation screw, remove the rear sight and springs. Installation is the reverse - install the elevation screw first, line up the sight in the frame by using your punch as a slave pin, drive the sight pin back into place. If you measured the distance between the floor of the frame's rear sight cut and the top of the rear sight blade before removing the old sight, you can set your elevation before going to the range to zero the sight.
