Having taken the brass world by storm, the award winning design team behind pBone are now excited to unveil pTrumpet. Much lighter and easier to blow than a traditional trumpet the pTrumpet is squarely aimed at the beginner player. It is supplied with plastic mouthpieces and a gigbag, but the bore will accept a traditional metal mouthpiece. The construction of the pTrumpet is extremely hardy, it will take knocks and scrapes that would badly damage a brass trumpet. It is also very easy to keep clean and maintain, you only need to use warm water and traditional slide creams or oils. A perfect instrument to encourage a younger player into the world of orchestra and brass band playing, or as a second instrument for more experienced players to take to rehearsals.

Newer is better
I have purchased several plastic instruments over the years since they first came out. In the beginning they were very fragile and had design flaws that made them undependable. For instance, my first plastic trumpet had valve caps held on by very weak plastic pins. One twist and they broke off and the valve was permanently damaged. A plastic euphonium I bought had such fragile spit valves that one broke when taking the horn out of the case. This pTrumpet seems strong enough to drive nails and with the right mouthpiece the tone is almost undistinguishable from brass. Great for going to ballgames to make noise without the fear of damaging an expensive instrument. The price is so reasonable that losing it would not be a catastrophe.

PTrumpet is great for the price
This is a great trumpet for the price. I've been playing for 50 yrs. I dressed up as Santa Claus and bought a red one to match my suit. I play jingle bells for the kids. Horn sounds great. Not as good as my $10,000 Monette or my Martin Committee. Great beginner horn for a child. I'm taking it to the park to practice and keep my chops. I highly recommend it to knock around or for a beginner....ANDYC

Easy to Play Real Trumpet with Quick valves, Surprising Quality
Easy to play, works quite well, kids LOVE it. With 2 mouthpieces, This is a real instrument that can take some knocks and drops. Valves are simple but work surprisingly well. If you can play a standard quality metal trumpet, you will be surprised how well this trumpet plays. Comes with two plastic mouthpieces of standard size, so you can use a metal one. All the valves are the same, and quick. It played well RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.
