Arrived early. It was well packaged. Pretty solid machine. This machine shaved the ice pretty well, like snow. Best method is to fill red solo cups about halfway with filtered water to make a cylinder chunk. Cut cup in half to remove ice block. Insert big side into machine and flip on switch. Slowly press down on the ice. When finished, dry out machine with paper towels to prevent blade rusting. But for under $50 its well worth itVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pros -can fit on counter top -sturdy heavy duty electric cord -okay over all Cons -the ice is not shaved as a snowball stand, I have tried different cuts/styles of ice, but never comes out shaved like the stands -ice shavings have ice chunks mixed with the shaved ice which makes it more like a original snowball not a shaved ice snowball -water drains on the counter top after use it is a lot of water, you need to place machine on a drainage mat to catch the water -the silver ice tray is not the best, once the ice drops into the pan it begins to melt and becomes watery. This makes the ice shaving clump together and it becomes watery in the cup, maybe a plastic tray would be better -unable to place a cup below the shaved ice dispensing slot because it is very close to the base of the machine. it would better if you could place the cup directly under the ice dispenser. The ability to place the cup at the ice slot to catch the shaved ice may prevent it from melting as quickly and clumping -very loud, but i quest this is expected -must be strong enough to push the handle to have the pressure needed to press the ice against the blade to make it work -it should come with a tray and cover because it is a lot longer than pictured therefore its as not compact for the counter top and storage; it really protrudes outward.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mostly good but could be better.
It has a lot of good qualities. Great price, good power, shaves ice easily. So if you don't mind some of its weaknesses I recommend it. What I don't like. Cannot fit a cup or glass under the chute where the shave I dispenses. So the ice goes into the tray provided and then must be spooned into a glass. Working great so far. Hopefully it will endure for a long time. It turns a tray of standard ice into fine snow in about 30-40 seconds. I wish I could place a wide mouth cup right under the snow dispenser but transferring the ice to a cup isn't a big deal.
