Uplifting and Powerful
This is the very first "spiritual" book that I have ever responded to. It is day-by-day conversation with my Lord that has touched my heart and my mind like nothing else. I read each day's lesson 2 or 3 times and feel strong and positive, even on days when I'm worried or harried. And the strength and confidence that it gives to me, the trust and peace I feel just grow stronger every day. I purchased 3 copies, one for myself and the other two for very dear friends. A Devotion for Every Day
I received my copy for Christmas 2012. I began reading it Jan. 1, 2013. I continue to read it daily, and I am always amazed at how, as the years go by, the words are still so appropriate for my life. I think so highly of this book of daily devotionals that these 3 are going to become gifts to others that I minister to. The book was given to me by a good friend. She gave me the faux leather edition. It was a total surprise. I found it inspirational, gentle and inspiring. I took the book with me everywhere so I was transferring it from my purse to the car and to my bedroom to read it before I went to sleep.
