I purchased XXL for my husbands large hands, but these barely fit my hands! All my fingers were at the end of the glove except my pinky finger. The bee gloves I normally use are mediums and give me plenty of space. Even though they are marked XXL they are not. They would be ok for me, but definitely not for my husband. The leather is lovely, soft and supple. The 'vented' sleeves do not have any mesh sewn in, but are made of a light canvas type material. The elastic is tight and hits my arm just slightly above my elbow. On my husband it's below the elbow on his tricep. Great gloves for the price I paid.
