It works well to safely detect ac voltag...
It works well to safely detect ac voltage as low as 12 volts - excellent to identify outlets connected to an open circuit breaker hen NOT detecting voltage in order to to trace circuits and confirm safe repair conditions. However they are easy to misplace, so this is my third one.
